Dr Meg Wardrop is a Consultant Psychiatrist (FRANZCP) who provides evidence-based, compassionate psychiatric care for women aged 16 to 65. Her work supports women across their life, including pregnancy and early parenthood, menopause and adult life.
She is based in Albany, Western Australia and has a particular interest in caring for women living in rural and regional communities.
Dr Wardrop has subspecialty experience in perinatal and hormone-related mental health. She completed a dedicated year of perinatal training at a Mother Baby Unit, caring for mothers from pregnancy through to one year postpartum, and has worked across acute community, eating disorder, adolescent and early-psychosis settings during her training in Western Australia and Melbourne.
Her practice is grounded in thoughtful, respectful and evidence-based care. She recognises the complex interplay of biological, psychological and social factors that shape women's mental health, and works collaboratively with patients to establish treatment goals, plan care and support long-term wellbeing.
